Spaceport-adjacent airfield serving the Baikonur Cosmodrome
Krayniy is the airfield serving the city of Baikonur and the adjacent Baikonur Cosmodrome, leased to Russia until 2050. Civil traffic is sparse and largely tied to space-launch campaigns and crew rotations. Scheduled service is limited; most movements are charters from Moscow operated for Roscosmos personnel and contractors, with occasional flights via Kyzylorda for general access.
Major carriers: Russian charter operators, Rossiya Airlines.
