Aktobe International serves western Kazakhstan from a site about 14 km northeast of the city centre. Operated by SCAT Airlines and Air Astana subsidiaries, it handles regional flights to Almaty and Astana plus seasonal services to Moscow, Antalya and Istanbul. The airport supports oil-and-gas traffic to the Aktobe region and acts as a feeder for connections via Kazakh hubs.
