Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, known locally as Subang or SkyPark, served as KL's main airport before KLIA opened in 1998. It now handles turboprop and regional services around 20 km west of central Kuala Lumpur. Firefly operates ATR routes to Penang, Singapore Seletar and Kota Bharu, while Batik Air Malaysia runs jet services. Convenient for the western Klang Valley.
