Kuching International is the main airport for Sarawak, located around 11 km south of the city centre on Borneo. It is the busiest airport in East Malaysia after BKI and the operational hub for MASwings turboprops serving inland Sarawak strips. Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and Batik Air cover trunk routes to KUL and Singapore, with regional flights to Pontianak and Kota Kinabalu.
