Oruro's altiplano airfield serving Bolivia's mining heartland
Juan Mendoza International is the regional airport for Oruro on Bolivia's high-altitude altiplano, sitting at roughly 3,702 m elevation a few kilometres from the city centre. Commercial scheduled service is limited and intermittent, with most travellers reaching Oruro by road from La Paz.
