Suhar International Airport lies on Oman's Batinah coast, around 12 km south of the city of Suhar and close to the major Suhar Port and freezone. It is the country's second civil airport after Muscat. Service is thin, focused on a Salam Air Muscat shuttle and occasional charters, with traffic driven mainly by industrial workers and regional transit.
