Al Abraq International, also known as La Abraq, serves Al Bayda and the Jebel Akhdar (Green Mountain) region of northeastern Libya. It is positioned on a high plateau roughly 20 km from the town and acts as a regional alternative to Benghazi's Benina. Operations are predominantly domestic, with Libyan Airlines and Berniq Airways linking the airport to Tripoli and occasionally to other Libyan cities.
