Kiruna Airport is Sweden's northernmost commercial airport, located about 9 km east of Kiruna town, deep inside the Arctic Circle. It's the main entry point for visitors heading to the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi and Aurora-hunting trips across Lapland. SAS and Norwegian run year-round flights to Stockholm-Arlanda, with extra capacity in winter. Charter and seasonal European routes appear in the December-February high season.
