Kaohsiung International, in the Xiaogang district, is Taiwan's second-busiest passenger airport and the main gateway to the south of the island. China Airlines, EVA Air and Starlux operate from here, alongside low-cost carriers like Tigerair Taiwan. Regular international routes include Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and several mainland Chinese cities, plus heavy domestic service to Magong and Kinmen.
