Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport is Jakarta's secondary commercial airport, located about 9 km southeast of the city center in East Jakarta. It primarily handles domestic services from Citilink, Batik Air, Pelita Air and TransNusa, plus Indonesian government and military flights. Halim is closer to central Jakarta than Soekarno-Hatta, making it convenient for short business hops to Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bali and Bandung.
