Warsaw's secondary low-cost airport, 35 km north of the capital
Warsaw Modlin is Warsaw's secondary airport, located in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki about 35 km north of central Warsaw. It is exclusively a Ryanair base, handling a dense network of UK, Irish, Italian, Spanish and Scandinavian leisure routes. The airport benefits from a dedicated rail-and-shuttle connection to Warszawa Centralna via Modlin station, making it a popular low-cost alternative to Chopin (WAW).
