Subic Bay Freeport's quiet international airfield
Subic Bay International occupies the former Naval Air Station Cubi Point inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, around 110 km northwest of Manila. Once a major US Navy facility, it now sees minimal scheduled commercial traffic and serves mostly cargo, charter and general aviation. Scheduled passenger service has been intermittent, with no airline operating consistently in recent years.
