Las Américas International is the main airport for Santo Domingo, located about 25 km east of the city center along the Caribbean coast. It is the DR's busiest airport for non-leisure traffic, with Arajet, JetBlue, American, Delta, Iberia, Air Europa and Copa all operating. The smaller La Isabela (JBQ) airport handles regional flights from the city's western edge.
