Xigaze Peace Airport, also known as Shigatse Air Base, is a high-altitude airfield about 43 km from Xigazê (Shigatse) in Tibet Autonomous Region, sitting at 3,782 m elevation. It's a dual civil-military airport with limited scheduled service, primarily operated by Tibet Airlines, China Eastern and Air China linking Shigatse to Lhasa, Chengdu and Xi'an.
