Belarus's main international gateway and Belavia hub
Minsk National Airport is Belarus's largest and busiest airport, located about 40 km east of central Minsk. It is the home base of Belavia, the national flag carrier, which operates routes across the CIS, Middle East, and a limited number of remaining European destinations. Following 2021 airspace restrictions, EU traffic has largely disappeared and connectivity now skews east.
Major carriers: Belavia, Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot.
