Juba International is the busiest airport in South Sudan and the country's main international gateway, sitting on the east bank of the White Nile a few kilometres north of central Juba. A new terminal opened in 2018 to handle growing traffic. Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, RwandAir and Uganda Airlines run the most consistent scheduled service, plus humanitarian and UN charter operations.
