Ilorin International Airport, formally General Tunde Idiagbon International, serves Kwara State's capital and the nearby city of Ogbomosho. The airport is roughly 15 km from central Ilorin and handles mostly domestic services to Lagos and Abuja, operated by Air Peace, Overland and Max Air. It is also a notable training base for Nigerian aviation schools.
