Issyk-Kul International sits near Tamchy on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, about 270 km east of Bishkek. It primarily handles seasonal and charter traffic to the lake's resort area, with scheduled service from Russian and Kyrgyz carriers during peak summer. Year-round commercial service is limited compared to Manas in Bishkek.
