William P. Hobby Airport sits about 10 km southeast of downtown Houston and is the older of the two Houston-area airports. Southwest Airlines operates a major focus city here with the most departures, joined by Delta and JetBlue plus international service to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Hobby is generally faster to access from the inner Loop and Galleria areas than the larger George Bush Intercontinental.
