El Paso International sits about 10 km northeast of downtown El Paso and serves the wider Borderplex region including Ciudad Juárez across the Rio Grande. American, Southwest, United, Delta and Frontier operate the bulk of departures, with most flights connecting through Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Houston and Atlanta. Allegiant adds seasonal leisure routes. The airport is also home to the Beaumont Army Medical Center adjacent to Fort Bliss.
