Blaise Diagne International is Senegal's primary airport, opened in December 2017 in Diass, about 50 km east of central Dakar. It replaced the older DKR for all scheduled passenger service and serves as the hub for Air Senegal. Long-haul links run to Paris, Brussels, Istanbul and Casablanca, plus regional West African routes via Royal Air Maroc, Air France, Brussels Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
