Charleroi Airport sits about 50 km south of Brussels near the city of Charleroi, and is Belgium's main low-cost-carrier base. Ryanair has built one of its largest continental hubs here, with Wizz Air, Pegasus and TUI fly Belgium adding further leisure and Eastern European reach. The airport is rebranded "Brussels South" in marketing, but the transfer to central Brussels takes around an hour by shuttle bus.
